 NEW TIMES: What genre of music do you play?

JADE JACKSON: I play all original music.

NEW TIMES: Do you write your own songs?

JADE JACKSON: Yes, I’ve written over 60 original songs that I can perform.

NEW TIMES: When did you start performing your music?

JADE JACKSON: I taught myself to play guitar about three years ago, and soon after started singing, writing music, and performing.

NEW TIMES: Who is your biggest musical influence?

JADE JACKSON: My biggest musical influence is heartache; without it I wouldn’t have half my material.
